Municipality of Opatija chooses for ZBin’s
The Opatija Municipality opted for a trial period to see if our products met their needs and quality, and this was the case. Which led to an order for a number of ZBin's.
Opatija is a charming coastal town and municipality in Croatia, situated on the Adriatic Sea within the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region. Renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and beautiful beaches, Opatija attracts a large number of tourists each year. This popularity as a tourist destination makes it necessary for an efficient and aesthetically pleasing waste management solution to maintain the town's appeal and ensure a clean, pleasant environment for both residents and visitors.
So the Opatija municipality went looking for a supplier for waste bins and ended up with our certified dealer WGE-Tech for Traflux ZBin's in the region. The customer opted for a trial period to see if our products met their needs and quality, and this was the case. Which led to a first order for ZBin's. And recently they ordered an additional number of ZBin’s.
After 2 years of working with our containers, can you describe your experience?
Initially we, the municipality, experienced some problems with the new way of working, encountering challenges as we adapted to the new systems. However, these issues were not widespread, overal we where able to transition smoothly without encountering major problems.
How did our containers/system increase your efficiency?
The containers are of high quality and do not break frequently which increased our time efficiency. The ELOC-access system we chose makes it easier to have billing in order, as we use the "pay as throw" system. Which basically means that users have to open the container using a card, and that gets registered in our system.
Would you recommend our system to other municipalities?
Yes, the system provides an efficient solution for waste collection, and we are very satisfied with it. Despite the high summer temperatures in the popular coastal town of Opatija, we do not experience any unpleasant odors since most of the container is underground and remains cool.
